Document Reader SDK version 7.4 is available for immediate download and can be obtained from the links below:

IMPORTANT changes

• Important fixes for correct server-side reprocessing of the sessions captured on client devices. Both clients and service should be updated for fixes to take effect.

Core SDK

• Authenticity
  • Updated NN (neural network) for electronic device detection check.
  • Changed result structure of eIPI from IdentResult to OCRSecurityText.

• Fixed issue with reprocessing RFID session data on the server when chip has no CA parameters but have AA (or vice versa) but server-side chip verification is enabled on the server.

Desktop API

• Fixed issue with incorrect cropping of view area of the device for specific readers.
• Fixed issue with incorrect scale between visible and IR images for 72x3 devices.

Mobile API

Android

• Fixed issue in the finalizePackage method. The results might be different in some cases after reprocessing on the Web Service.
• Fixed issue with displaying text during the RFID chip processing when using 7310 devices.

iOS

• Fixed issue with deallocating the RGLDocReader object.
• Fixed issue with simultaneous usage of the backend processing and capture frame processing mode.

• Fixed issue in the prepareDatabase method.
• Updated package dependencies to the latest version to fix security breaches.

Document Reader Application

• Introduced downloading template database updates via HTTPS instead of FTP. Backward compatibility is also preserved.
• Fixed issue with including statuses page in PDF report.

Web Component

• Results UI component
  • Added detailed UV fibers results display.
  • The lights tab is now always visible for all images if more than one is available.
  • Added fixed location of the Document type results section.
  • Fixed issue with copying values from the response - now they are copied without quotes.
