Smart UV and IR Compensation options

The Smart UV option is used for backlight compensation in images captured in an ultraviolet light source. This option can be enabled/disabled by the user in the settings of the Document Reader application.

The IR Compensation option is used for backlight compensation in images obtained in an infrared light source. This is a system option and cannot be enabled or disabled by the user. By default, the IR compensation option is enabled for devices that do not have a cover, namely the following models of document readers: 7017, 7027, 7037, 7017D, 70x8, 70x8M. The option is also enabled automatically for other document readers in video detection mode.

For images captured in a white light source, backlight compensation is not available.
