Issue:
When building the project in Xcode, I encounter the following error:
Asset validation failed Invalid Executable. The executable 'myapp.app/Frameworks/DocumentReaderCore.framework/DocumentReaderCore' contains bitcode.
Solution:
This issue is related to changes in Xcode. Bitcode is no longer supported, so projects or dependencies that contain it can fail validation.
- Xcode 14: Apple announced the end of bitcode support and recommended disabling it in projects. See the Xcode 14 release notes.
- Xcode 15: Apple removed the option to enable bitcode. See the Xcode 15 release notes.
Versions of Regula SDK lower than 7.1 contain bitcode that is incompatible with Xcode 15 and later versions. To ensure compatibility, update Regula SDK to version 7.1 or later.
