Devices built on the ARM64 architecture — such as Apple Silicon computers (M1/M2/M3), modern Windows-on-ARM laptops, and other similar systems — support the operation of Regula readers only when using RFID firmware version 22.* or higher.
This limitation is related to the specifics of developing and operating drivers for ARM platforms. Drivers created for ARM64 devices were developed to comply with modern security requirements, hardware interaction structures, and data transfer standards. As a result, older RFID firmware versions released before the 22.* series do not provide the necessary compatibility and cannot interact correctly with modern ARM systems.
